The Vespa "Faro Basso" series, literally translated as "Low Headlight" and generally know, in English, simply as the "Fenderlight" models, are some of the most beautiful and elegant Vespas ever produced. While the 125 Fenderlight would remain in production until 1957, This 1954 VM2 model marks the last year in which the Federlight was the top of the range. Subsequent VN-series Fenderlights had many components and features deleted in order to save costs, and to differentiate them from, and sell at a lower cost than, the 150cc VL-series machines which were introduced in 1955 and had the headlight relocated up to the open handlebar.

The 1954 VM2 model seen here has been restored by us to the absolute highest level of originality and elegance.
