1971 Vespa Rally 180
(US-Spec Version with original Meyer's Aircraft sidecar)
The Vespa Rally 180 was introduced as a replacement for the SS180 and saw the Vespa “Sport” range incorporating a rotary-valve motor for the first time. Due to a general slump in scooter sales in the late ‘60s as well as the introduction of, and subsequent replacement by the Rally 200 in 1972, their were fewer Rally 180s produced than any other largeframe Vespa model.
This US-spec model could easily be considered the rarest or the rare and was restored by us for the orignal owner to exact factory specs and includes all of the original dealer add-ons that she bought new in 1971.
