1963 Vespa GS160 mk2
The GS160 seen here is actually hiding a bit of a secret. Belive it or not, the owner of this machine came in with a GS160 frame and fork, a Vespa P200 engine and not much else. Nearly everything else on the bike is an example of what can be accomplished with the high quality aftermarket parts that we have been hunting down sources for and/or manufacturing for more than a decade. While we wouldn't consider this a strict "concorse" restoration, it is still leaps and bounds more accurately restored than what many would consider their best work. And that grunting, modified P200 motor hiding under the elegant, unmassumimng exterior makes this beautiful Vespa quite the "sleeper."
